A quick followup to assist you with the previous tip on keyboard shortcuts.

* Click on Settings (upper right corner)
* Under the General tab
* The third heading down “Keyboard shortcuts” click on “Keyboard shortcuts on”

We’ll start out simple with some basic Gmail keyboard shortcuts to save you some time. The less time you spend going back and forth from keyboard to mouse, the more productive you will be.
* c = Compose
* / = Search
* ! = Mark as spam
* r = Reply
* a = Reply All
* o/Enter = Open a conversation
* j/k = Previous/Next conversation
* n/p = Next/Previous Message (when viewing conversation)
* u = Back to conversation index
